So... my dream of Champagne in france being as free as the cheese was not to be... Champagne is expensive. Everywhere. It's as expensive as in the states. Boo.
So... we are on a quest to find an almost champagne that we like.
The first one we tried was to celebrate the house... it was 15 euro, and was, I think, technically in CHampagne... but it basically tasted like Cooks. Boo.
Then, last night, we tried two that were lovely!
Only 5 euro each, but quite crisp & delicious.
