French Onion Soup


Although I'm not exactly going to cook my way through Julia Child's cookbook and write a blog about it, I (we) are making a point of learning to cook some kick-ass French cuisine. We started with Cassoulet... mostly because they mention it in Gigi... then moved on to boeuf borginon. Tonight, we made Onion Soup, with homemade beef stock that had been simmering for hours. It was, for lack of a better term, amazing.
